I was born in Brisbane Queensland in 1961. My family soon relocated to Port Melbourne in the southern state of Victoria.  I completed high school in 1977 and soon began work within the telecommunications field, and later for a large stationery firm. I commenced work with the Australian Government in 1983 working within various technical and administrative areas. I currently work within the field of project administration.

Regular attendance at airshows ever since I was young boy developed into a strong interest in all things aviation and I’ve been very fortunate to come into contact with many wonderful like minded people. With a passion for photography and a particularly strong interest in military aviation, for me it was only natural that the two should come together. I enjoy the challenges that only aviation photography can present in particular photographing fast jets however I enjoy photographing all types of military aircraft, particularly in this unique part the world.  My imagery has been published by numerous aviation publications, government organizations, airshow conveners and the aviation industry. Together with my wife Tracey we live in the beautiful Macedon Ranges region of southern Victoria with our two wonderful cats.
