Why a digital magazine?

Digital magazines are increasingly replacing traditional print media. Sure, it was nice to hold a glossy magazine in your hand, but what did you do with it afterwards? Collect it? You can do the same with a digital magazine. And the advantage? Thousands of them fit on a small hard drive and are even good for the environment!

What is the meaning of this slogan?
CHECKSIX sees itself as a link between you, the Air Force and the aviation industry. Our coverage is designed accordingly. Not only do we write about events and airshows, but we also give you an insight into the world of military aviation.

FAQ - frequently asked questions
- Do I need to have a subscription to an issue?
No, of course not! Our package for a single issue called ‘PILOT OFFICER’ is a one-off payment and allows you to download the current issue for a period of seven days.
- What kind of subscription packages do you have?
We have a total of three packages, PILOT OFFICER (for a single issue), WING COMMANDER (for a total of four issues / 1 year) and AIR VICE MARSHALL (includes twelve issues / or three years).
- Can I download my issues to my PC/laptop/tablet?
Of course you can! You can read our magazine directly in your browser on our website, but you can also download it to your computer or tablet. Just remember that you are not allowed to pass it on to anyone else!
- How often is one issue of CHECKSIX published?
We currently have one quarterly publication. The publication (German/English) takes place on:
- 31. December
- 31. March
- 30. June
- 30. September
- Does this apply to all versions (German/English/Turkish/Italian) of CHECKSIX?
No, for organisational reasons this is not possible. Our Italian and Turkish versions will be available a month later:
- 31. January
- 30. April
- 31. July
- 31. October
- Can I cancel the subscription?
Of course, but why would you want to? Joking aside, you cannot cancel a single issue, but you can cancel your annual subscription to WING COMMANDER at any time. You will have full access to all back issues until your subscription expires.
- Can I buy back issues separately?
Unfortunately not at the moment (we are working on it). If you would like to have a single, older issue, go to the website and drop me a line (via our contact form) and let me know which issue it is.
